Multiple Juno award winning Canadian singer songwriter Stephen Fearing performed in concert at the Evergreen Theatre. My photographs that you see in the embedded youtube video show the highlights of that excellent performance, accompanied by one of my favourite tracks from his CD “Yellowjacket” entitled “Love Only Knows”.

The first entry of this year is in a slightly different format as we have created a Youtube video of a collection of images of one of the performers, Ariana Gillis of her performances at the Deep Roots Festival in Wolfville, 2011.
We hope you enjoy the music (used with kind permission of Ariana) and the photographs. She is an outstanding young performer and I’m sure you are going to hear a lot about her in the future.

A full house and a great concert is the best way to end a season at the Evergreen Theatre. The theatre always finishes the year with a big name and Catherine MacLellan fit the bill in December providing both those elements.
