“Underneath the Lintel” at the Evergreen Theatre
The stage presented an exciting sight to Evergreen Theatre goers when they arrived at the venue last Sunday. The play “Underneath the Lintel” presented by Frankie Productions and featuring Christian Murray was a departure from our musical performances. See the photo gallery of the production here or read on for more about the performance.
“Underneath the Lintel or The Mystery of the Abandoned Trousers”, written by Glen Berger was directed by Mary Vingoe. The excellent set was designed by Stephen Osler and the Lighting Design and Technical Direction was by Ingrid Risk. This talented team gave Christian Murray a perfect platform for his performance.
The play which was 75 minutes in length portrayed a librarian (Christian) who finds a book that is 113 years overdue returned to the library. We are all with him as his sleuthing leads him on a trail that takes him many exciting places, both physically and emotionally. We share in his triumphs and his disappointments as Christian builds his character through the story. This is a performance that is not to be missed and we were so glad to have had the chance to see and photograph it.
You can see the gallery of photographs of the play here.
Thanks to all who helped in putting on this wonderful performance for us in Margaretsville that night.
